Theater Lighting Technician and Programmer
Silent G Productions is a theatrical lighting design and consultation company in NY. My responsibilities included set construction and installation, lighting installation and circuiting, lighting controls programming, show design, and lighting equipment repair.
Mechanical Engineer
The team and I were very proud of our efforts on this transportable bridge development, involving preliminary assessment, design, and model construction for a bridge that could be used in disaster relief situations where community infrastructure was seriously damaged.
I was involved in all aspects of the planning and design, and played a leadership role in the hinge systems development, adhesive testing and application, and prototype construction.
Foundation Manager
Following a fire that destroyed Northeastern University's wilderness lodge, I played a major role supervising construction of the lodge, leading the design and fabrication of the foundation structural system, and executing the final yurt construction.
Vineyard Manager
I was responsible for starting and managing a small vineyard in Western MA, which I continue to operate and maintain. This included extensive research into plant viability and care, site preparation, planting and care, trellis construction, and constant maintenance.
Application Engineer Co-op
My first Co-op assignment was a rich experience involving application of the Digital Lumens Corporation’s advanced high-bay LED lighting and control system, and preparation of training documents for designers and facility managers.
